Welcome to Sunshine & Daisies’s 2018 reboot! I plan on recommitting to this thing that I started with so much excitement in the summer but have been neglecting since mid-fall.

So with no further ado: I thought I’d start this year with a simple post, so I bundled up and went on a walk through the snow the other day. I don’t know if you guys will feel the same, but winter clothes are often depressing to me. I feel uninspired wearing lots of black, and bulky when I wear enough layers to actually stay warm in Boston. So it was a game changer when my mom gifted me this coat. It’s feminine and cute yet it keeps me warm. I get compliments every time I wear it. I love the huge shawl collar and the watch plaid. It instantly elevates any outfit I wear it with to make the whole look more festive and sophisticated. Best of all, it’s on sale for super cheap right now!
